Labor day was established to honor the social and economic achievements of the American workers. So many people have given their all to ensure that this country is better than the times of the past. Although we have a long way to go before the United States is at its best, we have made some improvements and changes in the right direction.
This Labor day, I want to dedicate it to my mother and all great mothers here. Without the love and dedication of mothers, the people who gave their all could not have accomplished the greatness of today.
My mother was a great woman. She groomed my siblings and I to become great contributors of the world. She would not allow us to fail and linger in our failures. She encouraged us to keep trying even when it seemed pointless to go on. Growing up, we were restricted from doing all the things that our friends did but because of that, we learned, early on, the importance of hard work, dedication and giving back.
There are so many mothers out there who gave their all to ensure their children would move this country into the next phase of development. I thank you all for your hard work and support and the labors of love you gave to us all.
Thank you, Jennifer.
