I just finished the book titled The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra and just had to share what I learned. There are seven, but I will dedicate this post to the first, the Law of pure potentiality.
The Law of pure potentiality states that we are all pure awareness. Everything that exists comes from the same place, where anything is possible. With this Law, we need to know who we are to live a full life and be successful.
Our persona, or ego, the self we share with the outside world, is not who we are. The ego thrives on the acceptance and opinions of external sources, whereas our true selves use intuition and pure awareness and just is. We are part of the grand design of existence, not individuals with no connections or purpose.
I believe we all have those moments where we just exist. Moments where the external world does not impact who we are, what we think, or how we feel. That is the beauty of pure potentiality.
When we begin our spiritual journeys, we understand that we are not our ego, and we access our personal power. There are ways to experience pure potentiality. When we have moments of silence and meditation, we experience the power of pure potentiality. When we commune with nature, we also experience our essential nature. When we don’t judge things as good, bad, right, or wrong, we experience the purest level of self.
When I practice silence — the silence of the mind and body, my spirit feels lighter, and I feel like life makes sense. My first awareness of pure potentiality was when I realized I am not just this body but the soul within. That was my first step towards understanding the other laws of life.
Have you experienced the Law of pure potentiality? Please share your thoughts on this Law!
