We’re told in order to be beautiful, we must first be thin. So we swallow a tapeworm to devour what’s within.
We’re told in order to be beautiful, we must lighten my skin, telling us we’re not perfect with the skin we’re born in.
We’re told in order to be beautiful, we must straighten our hair, telling us that our curls are just not fair.
We’re told we must showcase our pride, telling us that it’s important to perfect our outside.
Beauty is not only light, straight, perfect & think but beauty should encompass everything within.
Thank you, Jennifer.
