I really enjoyed reading the book The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. Another great quote was “That which you manifest is before you.”
I had to pause and repeat that phrase a few times to let it seep into my whole being. One person may look out a window and see rain and think that they will have a bad day. Another person can look out and see the same weather pattern and be filled with gratitude for the nourishment of the plants and trees. The day is the same, the time is the same and the weather is the same but how each person views what’s in front of them depends on the person.
Life is about perspective. Whatever you say or think, the universe looks at that as something you want and sends things along the lines of your thoughts and words. If you have negative or low-vibrational thoughts, you will get low-vibrational things sent toward you. If you see most things as an opportunity instead of a problem, you will have more positive or high-vibrational things come your way.
Life is a mirror. Your beliefs, thoughts, and experiences shape the way you see the world. You can either be defeated by the challenges in your life and expect nothing but trouble or you can find the beauty in your circumstance and make the best of what you are given.
It’s all a choice. I try and manifest the trajectory of my days. A few weeks ago, I woke up and said “Today is going to be a great day!” One of my trauma symptoms is exhaustion and trouble sleeping. Once I got out of bed, I had energy for the first time in months. I listened to music and every song was something to dance to so I danced. I worked out and really felt the progress. I made my return to Toastmasters with a speech written in a way that was outside of my comfort zone and spoke very eloquently. Every work issue was resolved quickly. I ate healthily and had no cravings for junk. I ended the day feeling like I had won the lottery (kinda wish I played the lottery lol)
The point I am making is that I manifested the day I wanted and it was a beautiful thing. It’s not always as instantaneous as this day but the more and more you fill your thoughts, actions, and beliefs with positive intent and projection, you will see the rewards of your efforts.
What will you manifest in your life today?
